Ingredients
  

For the Garlic Yogurt
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt substitute with plant-based yogurt for a dairy-free option
  • 2 cloves Garlic fresh is preferred for intensity
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice substitute with vinegar if needed
For the Spiced Beef
  • 1 pound Ground beef can substitute with ground turkey or lamb
  • 1 medium Yellow onion white onion can be used in place
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin coriander is a substitute option
  • 1 tablespoon Sweet paprika smoked paprika can be an alternative
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder fresh garlic is also an option
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato paste can replace with fresh tomatoes if preferred
For Assembly
  • 3 tablespoons Butter use olive oil for a lighter version
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes any small tomato variety can work
  • 1/4 cup Fresh parsley substitute with other fresh herbs if desired
  • 1/2 cup Feta cheese omit for a dairy-free version or replace with nutritional yeast
  • 1 pound Cooked pasta choose textured pasta like fusilli, penne, or farfalle

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, grated garlic cloves, and lemon juice. Whisk until smooth and season with salt to taste. Set aside.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add diced onion. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until soft. Stir in cumin, paprika, and garlic powder.
  3. Add ground beef and cook for about 10 minutes, breaking it up until browned. Mix in tomato paste, salt, and pepper to taste.
  4. In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Stir in sweet paprika and allow mixture to bubble slightly. Remove from heat.
  5. On individual plates, place cooked pasta, top with spiced beef, drizzle paprika butter, and add a dollop of garlic yogurt.
  6. Garnish with cherry tomatoes and crumbled feta cheese, sprinkling with fresh parsley before serving.
