Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Prep the Ingredients. Clean and prepare seafood. Chop potatoes, and hard-boil eggs if including.
  2. Bring Water to a Boil. In a large pot, combine water, Cajun seasoning, and Old Bay; bring to a boil.
  3. Cook Potatoes First. Add chopped potatoes to boiling water; cook for 10-15 minutes until tender.
  4. Add Sausage & Seafood. Stir in sausage and simmer for 5 minutes followed by shrimp and crab for another 5-8 minutes.
  5. Add Corn and Eggs. Add halved corn on the cob and hard-boiled eggs for the final 5 minutes.
  6. Prepare Garlic Butter Sauce. Melt butter, add garlic and lemon juice; simmer until fragrant.
  7. Combine & Serve. Drizzle garlic butter sauce over the seafood and vegetables and serve on a newspaper-lined table.
