Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter, honey, dark brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Whisk vigorously for about 2 minutes until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  2. Incorporate the room temperature egg and vanilla extract into the wet mixture. Continue to whisk until fully integrated.
  3. Gently sprinkle the flour, baking soda, and kosher salt over your wet mixture. Fold together carefully until no flour streaks remain.
  4. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with crinkled parchment paper.
  6. Scoop the chilled dough into 2-tablespoon-sized balls and arrange them on the prepared baking sheet, spaced 3 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
