Step-by-Step Instructions

  2. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness of about 1/2 inch using a meat mallet.
  3. Layer turkey and cheese on each chicken breast, carefully rolling and securing with toothpicks.
  4. Set up a breading station with flour, eggs, and breadcrumbs in separate shallow dishes.
  5. Coat each chicken roll in flour, dip in egg mixture, then roll in breadcrumbs.
  6. Melt butter in a skillet and pan-fry the rolls until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  7. Transfer to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
  8. For the sauce, melt remaining butter, whisk in flour, add milk, and gradually incorporate Swiss cheese until smooth.
