Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, melt 4 tablespoons of butter over medium heat, then whisk in 1/4 cup of flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Gradually whisk in 2 cups of chicken broth and 1 cup of milk, stirring constantly until thickened, around 3-5 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in 2 cups of cooked chicken and your choice of frozen vegetables.
  5. Transfer the chicken mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  6. Open the biscuit dough and flatten each biscuit slightly before placing them on top of the chicken mixture.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until biscuits are golden brown and filling is bubbling.
  8. Let the casserole cool for about 5 minutes before serving.
