Step-by-Step Instructions for Creamy Garlic White Pizza Sauce
- In a skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat for about 2 minutes, or until it shimmers.
- Add 4 minced cloves of garlic to the hot oil and sauté for about 3 minutes, stirring constantly until fragrant and golden.
- Whisk in 2 to 3 tablespoons of flour, 1/4 teaspoon of dried oregano, 1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt until well combined.
- Gradually pour in 1½ cups of half & half while continuously whisking to prevent lumps. Cook for about 3 to 4 minutes until bubbly and thickened.
- Once thickened and creamy, remove from heat. Stir in optional grated Parmesan cheese or adjust seasoning to taste.
