Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cook the Pasta: Boil salted water, add penne pasta, cook until al dente (10-12 minutes). Drain and reserve ½ cup pasta water.
  2. Prepare the Shrimp: Coat raw shrimp with jerk seasoning. Sauté in butter over medium-high heat for 2 minutes per side until pink.
  3. Sauté the Aromatics: In the same skillet, sauté chopped onion and garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Add bell peppers, cook for 3-4 minutes until tender.
  4. Create the Creamy Sauce: Stir in heavy cream and chicken broth, simmer until thickened. Add Parmesan cheese, stir until melted.
  5. Combine Ingredients: Mix cooked penne into sauce, adjust consistency with reserved pasta water. Fold in shrimp, heat through (1-2 minutes).
  6. Finish and Serve: Stir in scallions and lime juice. Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan. Serve immediately.
