Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat the Olive Oil. In a large soup pot, warm 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat until it shimmers.
  2. Brown the Sausage. Add 1 pound of Italian sausage, breaking it into pieces and cook for 6-8 minutes until browned.
  3. Sauté the Aromatics. Remove sausage and sauté onion and garlic for 3-4 minutes until translucent.

  5. Cook the Ditalini Pasta. Add 1 cup of ditalini pasta, cooking for 8-10 minutes until al dente.
