Ingredients
  

For the Pasta Base

For the Salad
  • 1 pound Cooked Shrimp Peeled and shelled.

  • 1 stalk Celery Can be swapped with bell pepper.

For the Dressing
  • 3 tablespoons Lemon Juice Substitute with vinegar if desired.

  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce Soy sauce can be used as a substitute.
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise Greek yogurt offers a lighter alternative.
  • 1/4 cup Sour Cream Can be replaced with full-fat yogurt.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Granulated Garlic Fresh garlic can be used if preferred.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mustard Powder Prepared mustard can be used if necessary.
  • 1 teaspoon Brown Sugar Honey or agave syrup can be used as substitutes.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to your taste preference.
  • 1/4 teaspoon Pepper Black or white pepper works well.
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin Omit if a more neutral flavor is preferred.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, combine your cooked shrimp with the lemon juice, olive oil, granulated garlic, and cumin. Allow the shrimp to marinate for about 10 minutes.
  2. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat and sauté the marinated shrimp for about 5 minutes until they turn opaque and pink. Then set aside to cool.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the sour cream, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, mustard powder, salt, pepper, remaining granulated garlic, and cumin until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, mix together the cooked macaroni, sautéed shrimp, finely chopped shallot, diced celery, and fresh parsley. Pour the dressing over and fold gently.
  5. Cover the bowl and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  6. After chilling, give the salad a gentle stir and serve it cold.
