Preparation
- In a medium bowl, combine your cooked shrimp with the lemon juice, olive oil, granulated garlic, and cumin. Allow the shrimp to marinate for about 10 minutes.
- Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat and sauté the marinated shrimp for about 5 minutes until they turn opaque and pink. Then set aside to cool.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the sour cream, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, mustard powder, salt, pepper, remaining granulated garlic, and cumin until smooth.
- In another bowl, mix together the cooked macaroni, sautéed shrimp, finely chopped shallot, diced celery, and fresh parsley. Pour the dressing over and fold gently.
- Cover the bowl and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- After chilling, give the salad a gentle stir and serve it cold.
