Cooking Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 6-8 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until golden.
- Gradually whisk in warm milk, stirring continuously for about 3-5 minutes until thickened.
- Reduce heat to low, add white cheddar slowly while stirring until melted and smooth, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add drained pasta to the cheese sauce, folding gently and seasoning to taste.
- Transfer to serving dish or preheat oven to 350°F for a crispy topping. Bake for 15-20 minutes if desired.
