  • 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese Use nutritional yeast for a vegan option.

Equipment

  • Air fryer

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Once boiling, add your rigatoni or farfalle and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Strain the pasta and transfer it to a mixing bowl to cool slightly.
  2. While the pasta is cooling, preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C). Allow the air fryer to reach temperature.
  3. Drizzle cooled pasta with extra-virgin olive oil and toss gently to coat. Sprinkle in Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and grated Parmesan cheese. Toss thoroughly until evenly coated.
  4. Carefully place the seasoned pasta into the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10-14 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through. Look for a golden brown color.
  5. Once crispy, remove them from the basket, serve immediately with extra Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley. Pair with marinara or pesto for dipping.
