Preparation
- Create your coating station with three bowls: one with all-purpose flour, one with beaten eggs and milk, and one with seasoned Italian breadcrumbs.
- Dredge each mozzarella stick in flour, dip in the egg mixture, then roll in breadcrumbs. Repeat for double coating.
- Lay breaded sticks on a parchment-lined tray and freeze for at least 2 hours.
Cooking Method
- Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F for frying, or preheat oven to 400°F, or set air fryer to 390°F.
- Cook frozen mozzarella sticks until golden brown: 2-3 minutes for frying, 8-10 minutes for baking, or 5-6 minutes for air frying.
- Remove from heat and drain on paper towel. Garnish with parsley and serve with marinara sauce.
