Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the Chicken Cutlets by slicing the chicken breasts into thin cutlets, about 1/2-inch thickness.
  2. Whisk together the egg, splash of milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Coat each chicken cutlet in the egg mixture, then dredge in breadcrumbs and panko.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet. Fry the chicken cutlets for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown.
  5. Make garlic butter by melting salted butter, adding minced garlic and parsley.
  6. Toast split hoagies or baguettes with garlic butter in an oven at 375°F for 3-4 minutes.
