For the Wrapping
  • 10 rolls Egg Roll Wrappers thicker variety preferred
  • 1 tbsp Water for sealing edges
For Cooking
  • 2 cups Neutral Oil (Vegetable or Canola) for frying

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded imitation crab meat, finely sliced green onions, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. Lay out an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface in a diamond position. Add 1-2 tablespoons of the creamy filling into the center and seal the egg roll.
  3. In a deep skillet or heavy saucepan, pour enough neutral oil to cover the bottom by 1-2 inches. Heat the oil to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Carefully add the prepared egg rolls to the hot oil in batches. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Once cooked, remove from oil and place on paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve warm with dipping sauces.
