Preparation
- Begin by making the salt bread dough according to your favorite recipe, stopping just before shaping. Allow the dough to proof in a warm area for about an hour or until doubled in size.
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, finely chopped imitation crab, sliced green onions, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and granulated sugar. Mix until the filling is smooth and creamy. Transfer to a piping bag.
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C). Spray the top of each roll with water and coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- Place the panko-coated rolls onto a baking sheet and lower the oven temperature to 400°F (204°C). Bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
- After baking, reduce the oven temperature to 350°F (177°C). Cut a shallow slit in each roll and pipe the crab mixture inside. Return to the oven for an additional 10 minutes.
- Brush the tops of your rolls with sweet chili sauce and sprinkle with sliced green onions before serving.

Notes
Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature for a smooth filling. Use a piping bag for neat filling. Rotate rolls halfway through baking for even color.
