Preparation Steps
  1. Start by placing 1 cup of dried lentils in a medium bowl and covering them with 2 cups of water. Let them soak for about 2 hours.
  2. After soaking, drain the lentils well, ensuring no excess water remains.
  3. In a blender, combine the soaked and drained lentils with your chosen spices. Blend until smooth.
  4. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and brush it lightly with oil.
  5. Pour the blended mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it as thinly as possible.
  6. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, checking at 15 minutes for doneness.
  7. Once baked, remove from the oven and allow to cool on the baking sheet before transferring to an airtight container.
