Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Lightly coat a 9x13 inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
- Layer half of the cubed brioche in the baking dish, followed by half of the cream cheese cubes and half of the strawberries.
- Add the remaining brioche cubes on top, followed by the rest of the cream cheese and strawberries.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, whole milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and kosher salt until smooth.
- Pour the custard mixture evenly over the layers and press down to ensure absorption.
- Cover with plastic wrap or foil and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
- Let it stand at room temperature for 30 minutes before baking.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for another 25-30 minutes until golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes and serve warm, optionally dusted with confectioners’ sugar and fresh strawberries.
