Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add 1 cup of orzo pasta and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add sliced chicken sausage and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until browned.
  3. Reduce heat to medium, add minced garlic, and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Fold in broccoli florets and cooked orzo, stir to combine and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes.
  5. Season with salt, black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes, stir to distribute seasoning.
  6. Serve warm with freshly grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
