Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef for about 7-10 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground beef with the cream of mushroom soup and seasonings.
- Grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish. Layer the bottom with thinly sliced or cubed potatoes.
- Pour the beef and soup mixture over the arranged potatoes and spread evenly.
- Cover the casserole dish with aluminum foil and bake for about 1 hour.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top and bake uncovered for an additional 30 minutes.
- Allow to sit for about 10 minutes before serving.
