Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels, season both sides with kosher salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned cod fillets and cook for 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  3. Reduce heat to medium, add butter, and melt. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds. Stir in fresh lemon juice and zest.
