Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Raspberry Oatmeal Crumble Bars
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8x8-inch square pan with foil and cooking spray.
  2. Melt 1 cup of butter in a microwave-safe bowl for about 1 minute until melted.
  3. Combine 1/2 cup of granulated sugar and 1/2 cup of light brown sugar with the melted butter and add 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract, whisking until glossy.
  4. Stir in 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 2 cups of old-fashioned rolled oats, and a pinch of salt until just combined, reserving 1 cup for topping.
  5. Press the oat mixture evenly into the bottom of the pan to form a solid crust.
