  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese Use any cheese or omit for dairy-free.
  • 1 cup Diced Tomatoes Cherry tomatoes can be used.
  • 1/2 cup Sliced Black Olives Can substitute with sliced jalapeños.
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Green Onions Red onions can be used for a sharper taste.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef. Cook until fully browned, about 5 minutes.
  2. Drain excess grease, then return beef to skillet. Sprinkle taco seasoning over beef and add water as directed. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Place a layer of shredded lettuce in a large clear serving bowl.
  4. Add a thick layer of refried beans on top of the lettuce, followed by the seasoned beef mixture.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the beef, then add diced tomatoes and sliced black olives.
  6. Dollop sour cream generously over the salad, then add fresh guacamole.
  7. Drizzle choice of salsa over top and finish with chopped green onions.
  8. Serve immediately alongside tortilla chips.
