Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Marinade
  • 1 pound Boneless Chicken Breast Cut into strips
  • 3 tablespoons Soy Sauce For marinating chicken
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil For flavor
For the Peanut Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Creamy Peanut Butter Or almond butter for nut-free
  • 2 tablespoons Lime Juice Freshly squeezed
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Ginger Grated
  • 1 tablespoon Honey Adjust to taste
For the Wraps
  • 4 large Flour Tortillas Use whole wheat or gluten-free if desired
  • 4 leaves Fresh Lettuce Leaves
  • 1 cup Purple Cabbage Shredded
  • 2 medium Carrots Julienned
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Cilantro Chopped

Method
 

Directions
  1. Prepare the Peanut Sauce: In a medium bowl, whisk together creamy peanut butter, soy sauce, sesame oil, lime juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, and honey until smooth.
  2. Marinate the Chicken: Cut boneless chicken breast into strips, place in a bowl, pour the remaining soy sauce and sesame oil over the chicken and let marinate for about 10 minutes.
  3. Prepare Fresh Vegetables: Wash and dry fresh lettuce leaves, shred purple cabbage, julienne the carrots, and chop cilantro.
  4. Cook the Chicken: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, add the marinated chicken, sauté for 6-8 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked.
  5. Warm the Tortillas: Warm the flour tortillas in the skillet for 30 seconds on each side until soft.
  6. Assemble the Wraps: Spread a layer of peanut sauce on each tortilla, layer fresh lettuce, shredded cabbage, julienned carrots, and cooked chicken.
  7. Roll and Serve: Fold the sides of the tortilla inwards, roll from the bottom up, and cut in half for easy handling.
