Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the potato gnocchi and cook until they float to the surface, about 2-3 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a medium saucepan, heat olive oil and sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add cream and stir, then mix in cheese until melted.
- Fold cooked gnocchi into the creamy sauce. Optionally add vegetables, proteins, and fresh herbs.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle additional cheese over the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbling and golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes, then serve warm.
