  • 1 cup Greek Yogurt Can substitute with plain coconut yogurt (drain if too runny)
  • 1 cup Self-Raising Flour For gluten-free, use gluten-free flour blend with 1 ½ tsp baking powder per cup

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Drain excess liquid from Greek yogurt if necessary. Measure 1 cup and place in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add 1 cup of self-raising flour to the bowl with the Greek yogurt and mix until a sticky dough forms.
  4. Dust a clean surface with flour and knead the dough gently for about 30 seconds.
  5. Divide the dough into 6 equal pieces and shape each piece into a ball.
  6. Place the dough balls on the baking sheet, leaving space between each, and let rest for about 15 minutes.
  7. Optionally, whisk a beaten egg and brush it over the tops of the rolls, sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, rotating halfway for even browning.
  9. Remove from oven and cool slightly on a wire rack before serving.
