Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Start by boiling 2 cups of water in a kettle or saucepan. Once the water reaches a rolling boil, steep your black tea bags or loose leaf tea in a large pitcher for about 10 minutes.
  2. While the tea is steeping, dice your ripe mango into small pieces. In a saucepan, combine the diced mango and an additional 2 cups of water, bringing it to a gentle boil.
  3. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 10 minutes, mashing the mango until it transforms into a smooth puree.
  4. Strain the mango puree through a fine mesh sieve into the pitcher containing the brewed tea.
  5. Add honey to the pitcher, stirring until fully dissolved, then adjust sweetness as desired.
  6. Allow the tea to cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for about 15 minutes. Serve over ice and garnish with additional mango slices.
