- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a standard loaf pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix together milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon.
- Pour half of the batter into the greased loaf pan and sprinkle half of the cinnamon filling.
- Add the remaining batter on top and swirl the remaining cinnamon filling.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool for about 10 minutes before removing from the pan.
- Whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract for the icing.
- Drizzle the icing over the cooled bread and serve.
