Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a standard loaf pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  5. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the greased loaf pan and sprinkle half of the cinnamon filling.
  7. Add the remaining batter on top and swirl the remaining cinnamon filling.
  8. Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let it cool for about 10 minutes before removing from the pan.
  10. Whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract for the icing.
  11. Drizzle the icing over the cooled bread and serve.
