Step-by-Step Instructions

  3. In a small saucepan, combine butter, brown sugar, water, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and salt. Heat over medium until melted and glossy.
  4. Brush about ¾ of the sauce over the sweet potato medallions, ensuring all slices are well-coated.
  5. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45-50 minutes or until the sweet potatoes are tender.
  6. Remove the foil and drizzle the remaining sauce over the sweet potatoes, then sprinkle with pecans and mini marshmallows.
  7. Broil for 1-2 minutes, watching closely to achieve a golden-brown color.
