Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8x8-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together melted unsalted butter, light brown sugar, granulated sugar, and large eggs until creamy.
  3. Incorporate pure maple syrup, milk, and vanilla extract into the wet mixture.
  4. In another bowl, mix all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  5. Fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined, being careful not to over-mix.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 22-25 minutes. Check for doneness with a toothpick.
  7. Allow the bars to cool in the pan for 15-20 minutes before removing.
  8. Prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar, maple syrup, milk, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
  9. Drizzle glaze over cooled bars, let it set, and slice into squares to serve.
