Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, combine warm water, active dry yeast, and sugar. Let sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour and salt. Create a well, pour in the yeast mixture and olive oil, stir until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Let rise in a greased bowl for about 1 hour.
  4. Mix minced garlic with melted butter for garlic butter. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and prepare a baking sheet.
  5. Roll the risen dough into a rectangle, brush with garlic butter.
  6. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the dough, leaving a small border.
  7. Roll the dough tightly into a log, slice into 1-inch wide strips, and arrange on the baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
  9. Brush tops with remaining garlic butter, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and parsley before serving.
