Preparation Steps

  3. In a separate saucepan, melt sugar without stirring for about 5-7 minutes until golden amber color.
  4. Carefully stir in butter and cream mixture along with lemon juice into the melted sugar.
  5. Return saucepan to medium heat, stirring continuously and monitoring temperature to reach 250°F.
  6. Pour caramel into prepared loaf pan and let cool at room temperature for about 3 hours or overnight.
  7. Once cooled, use a sharp knife to cut caramels and garnish with flaky sea salt.
