  • 2 bags Black Tea Bags or loose leaf tea for deeper taste
For the Mango Blend
  • 1 large Ripe Mango or frozen mango cubes as a substitute
  • ½ cup Water for blending
For Sweetening
  • 2 tablespoons Honey adjust according to taste
For Serving
  • as needed Ice to serve cold

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Boil 1 cup of water in a small saucepan until rolling. Add 2 black tea bags and steep for 3 minutes. Remove bags and stir in honey until dissolved. Set aside to cool.
  2. Dice the ripe mango into small chunks. Blend with ½ cup of water until smooth to create mango puree.
  3. Strain the mango puree through a fine-mesh sieve into a bowl or pitcher, using a spatula to extract as much nectar as possible.
  4. Fill glasses with ice cubes halfway. Pour the cooled tea until glasses are two-thirds full. Drizzle mango nectar on top.
  5. Garnish with a slice of fresh mango on the rim and serve immediately.

Notes
