  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper Freshly cracked preferred
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper Adjust to taste
For Frying and Drizzling
  • 2 cups Vegetable Oil Canola or peanut oil recommended
  • 1/2 cup Hot Honey The star ingredient
For Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons Parsley Chopped

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Marinate shrimp in buttermilk for about 15 minutes at room temperature.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, kosher salt, black pepper, and cayenne.
  3. Dredge the shrimp in the seasoned flour mixture until fully coated.
  4. Heat the oil in a deep pot to 350°F and fry shrimp in batches for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Drain fried shrimp on paper towels and drizzle with hot honey.
  6. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
