- Cook a bag of microwave popcorn according to package instructions, around 2-4 minutes. Remove when popping slows.
- In a bowl, melt 4 tablespoons of butter in the microwave for about 30 seconds. Whisk in 1 cup of powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until smooth.
- Transfer popped popcorn to a large bowl. Pour the glaze over and gently toss until coated.
- Serve in a decorative bowl. Allow to cool for a few minutes if desired.
