Chocolate-Dipping Process
- Chop dark or semi-sweet chocolate into small pieces and place in a heatproof bowl over a pot of simmering water. Melt gently, stirring until smooth, about 3-5 minutes.
- Wash and dry the oranges, then cut into wedges and arrange on a parchment-lined plate.
- Dip each orange wedge halfway into the melted chocolate, letting excess drip back into the bowl, and place on the lined plate.
- Let the dipped wedges set at room temperature for about 15-20 minutes or refrigerate for 10 minutes.
- Sprinkle optional toppings over the chocolate while it’s still warm, if desired.
- Serve the chocolate-dipped orange wedges immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
