Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, brown sugar, and softened unsalted butter. Mix until crumbly.
  3. Press the mixture uniformly into the bottom of the greased baking dish and bake for 15 minutes until golden.
  4. In a medium saucepan, combine butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, and condensed milk. Cook over medium heat until smooth and boiling.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in chopped pecans and chocolate chips until well combined.
  6. Pour the pecan and chocolate mixture over the baked crust and spread evenly. Bake for an additional 20-25 minutes.
  7. Allow the bars to cool in the pan for at least 1 hour before slicing into squares.
