- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, brown sugar, and softened unsalted butter. Mix until crumbly.
- Press the mixture uniformly into the bottom of the greased baking dish and bake for 15 minutes until golden.
- In a medium saucepan, combine butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, and condensed milk. Cook over medium heat until smooth and boiling.
- Remove from heat and stir in chopped pecans and chocolate chips until well combined.
- Pour the pecan and chocolate mixture over the baked crust and spread evenly. Bake for an additional 20-25 minutes.
- Allow the bars to cool in the pan for at least 1 hour before slicing into squares.
