Cinnamon Rolls Steps
  1. In a stand mixer, combine warm milk, white sugar, and active dry yeast. Let sit for about 4 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add beaten egg, softened butter, salt, and all-purpose flour. Mix well, then gradually add more flour until a soft ball of dough forms.
  3. Transfer dough to a greased bowl and let it rise for about 1 hour until doubled in size.
  4. Meanwhile, mix brown sugar, white sugar, and ground cinnamon in a bowl for the filling.
  5. Roll the dough into an 18"x9" rectangle. Spread softened butter and sprinkle cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  6. Starting from the long side, roll into a log and cut into 12 equal pieces. Place in a buttered baking dish.
  7. Cover with a towel and let the rolls rise for 20-30 minutes until puffed. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  8. Bake for 22-24 minutes until golden. Remove from oven and cool slightly.
  9. For the glaze, beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, softened butter, and milk until smooth.
  10. Drizzle glaze over warm cinnamon rolls and serve.
