Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Mixture
  • 2 cups shredded Rotisserie Chicken plain or seasoned
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise can substitute with light mayo
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder or fresh minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder or substitute with finely chopped fresh onion
  • to taste Salt to suit your palate
  • to taste Pepper to suit your palate
For the Sliders
  • 8 count Slider Buns Hawaiian rolls optional
  • 8 slices Cheese (Provolone or Mozzarella)
  • 1/4 cup Butter or olive oil for a lighter option
For Garnish (Optional)
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped Fresh Parsley
  • 1 tablespoon Poppy Seeds

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the slider buns horizontally to create a top and bottom layer, keeping them connected.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded rotisserie chicken with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  4. Spread the chicken mixture over the bottom halves of the buns in a greased baking dish.
  5. Layer slices of provolone or mozzarella cheese over the chicken mixture.
  6. Place the top halves of the buns over the cheese, pressing down gently.
  7. In a small bowl, melt the butter and mix in chopped parsley and poppy seeds. Brush this over the top of the buns.
  8. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 10 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before slicing and serve warm.
