- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Carefully slice the slider buns horizontally, keeping the halves connected.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded rotisserie chicken with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
- Grease a baking dish and place the bottom halves of your buns into it. Spread the chicken mixture across the buns.
- Layer slices of cheese generously over the chicken mixture.
- Place the top halves of the buns over the cheese, lightly pressing them down.
- In a small bowl, melt the unsalted butter and mix in chopped fresh parsley and poppy seeds, if using. Brush this mixture over the tops of the buns.
- Cover the dish with foil and place it in the oven for the first 10 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes until golden and the cheese is melted.
- Once out of the oven, let the sliders cool briefly and slice carefully between the buns.
