Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Carefully slice the slider buns horizontally, keeping the halves connected.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded rotisserie chicken with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
  4. Grease a baking dish and place the bottom halves of your buns into it. Spread the chicken mixture across the buns.
  5. Layer slices of cheese generously over the chicken mixture.
  6. Place the top halves of the buns over the cheese, lightly pressing them down.
  7. In a small bowl, melt the unsalted butter and mix in chopped fresh parsley and poppy seeds, if using. Brush this mixture over the tops of the buns.
  8. Cover the dish with foil and place it in the oven for the first 10 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes until golden and the cheese is melted.
  9. Once out of the oven, let the sliders cool briefly and slice carefully between the buns.
