  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano Fresh oregano can also be used.
For the Marinara Sauce
  • 2 cups Marinara Sauce Opt for low-sodium or homemade for better flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes Optional, adjust according to taste.
For Garnish
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Basil For garnishing the dish.

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the zucchini lengthwise into 1/4-inch thick slices, brush with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a greased baking dish, layer half the zucchini slices, followed by ricotta, marinara, and mozzarella. Repeat layers.
  4. Sprinkle oregano on top and bake for 20-25 minutes until zucchini is tender and cheese is bubbly.
  5. Allow to cool slightly, garnish with fresh basil, slice, and serve warm.
