  • 2 pieces ripe Alphonso or Ataulfo mangoes pulp to be used for mango purée
  • 1 cup desiccated coconut toast before use
  • ½ cup sweetened condensed milk ensure it's sweetened
For Coating
  • 1 cup extra desiccated coconut for rolling the truffles

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the Mango Purée: Scoop the pulp from the mangoes and blend until smooth to yield about 1 cup.
  2. Toast the Coconut: Heat a nonstick pan, add coconut, and stir for about 1 minute until golden.
  3. Cook the Mixture: Combine mango purée and sweetened condensed milk in the pan. Cook for 5–7 minutes until thick.
  4. Shape the Truffles: Roll about 1 tablespoon of the mixture into balls using your hands.
  5. Coat & Store: Roll each ball in extra coconut and store in an airtight container in the fridge.
