Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Step 1: Roast Garlic - Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Take peeled garlic cloves and place them in a small baking dish with a drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of salt. Cover with foil and roast for about 20 minutes until golden brown and soft. Let cool, then smash into a paste.
  2. Step 2: Prepare Bread - Slice the bread in half lengthwise and bake on a baking sheet for about 5 minutes until slightly crispy and golden.
  3. Step 3: Make Garlic Butter Custard - In a mixing bowl, combine the roasted garlic paste with melted butter, egg, milk, salt, paprika, and parsley. Whisk until smooth.
  4. Step 4: Coat Bread - Dip each half of the toasted bread into the garlic butter custard and spread evenly over the surface.
  5. Step 5: Bake - Return the coated bread to the baking sheet and bake for 15–18 minutes until crispy and golden.
