- Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C).
- Remove the thin membrane from the back of the spare ribs. Rinse the ribs under cold water and pat them dry.
- In a small bowl, combine paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and chili powder.
- Rub the spice mixture generously over both sides of the spare ribs.
- Wrap the seasoned ribs tightly in aluminum foil.
- Bake for 2.5 to 3 hours, until the meat becomes tender.
- Once tender, carefully remove them from the oven and brush barbecue sauce over the top.
- Broil for 3 to 5 minutes until bubbly and slightly charred.
- Allow to rest for several minutes, then slice and serve.
