Ingredients

For the Crescents
  • 1 tube Refrigerated crescent roll dough Provides flaky texture; use classic refrigerated dough for best results.
  • 1 cup Chopped pecans Adds nuttiness and crunch; substitute with walnuts or almonds if preferred.
  • 3/4 cup Brown sugar Provides sweetness and caramelization; light or dark can be used.
  • 1/4 cup Corn syrup Binds the filling while adding sweetness; alternatives include maple syrup or honey.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract Enhances overall flavor profile; key for the classic taste.
  • 2 tablespoons Melted butter Helps combine ingredients and adds richness; essential with no substitutes recommended.
