Dough Preparation
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. In a pan, heat the milk and butter until melted, then cool slightly. Pour into dry ingredients, add eggs, and mix until smooth, gradually incorporating more flour.
Kneading and First Rise
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for 5-10 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
Rolling and Filling
- Once risen, punch down the dough and roll out into a rectangle. Spread with butter, sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll tightly, seal edges, and slice into 12 pieces.
Second Rise
- Place the slices in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise for another 30-45 minutes.
Baking
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake rolls for 20-30 minutes until golden brown.
Icing Preparation
- In a bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk to desired icing consistency.
Frosting
- Drizzle icing over warm cinnamon rolls.

Notes
Use fresh yeast for proper rising. Knead dough well for fluffiness. You can freeze unbaked rolls for future use.
