Step-by-Step Instructions for Protein Bars
  1. In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup of peanut butter, 1 cup of your favorite protein powder, 1/2 cup of pure maple syrup, and a pinch of salt. Mix vigorously until a smooth, slightly sticky dough forms, about 2–3 minutes.
  2. Shape the mixture into individual bars by hand or press it into a lined 8x8 inch pan. Aim for approximately 1-inch thickness.
  3. Place the bars or pan in the refrigerator and chill for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Melt 1/2 cup of dairy-free chocolate chips until smooth. Dip each bar into the melted chocolate or drizzle it over the top. Return to the refrigerator for about 10 minutes to set.
  5. Once the chocolate has hardened, cut the bars into desired sizes. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week or in the fridge for longer shelf life.
