Step-by-Step Instructions for Healthy Sesame Chicken
  1. Prepare the chicken by cutting it into 1-inch cubes. Cook the rice and steam or sauté green beans for 4-5 minutes.
  2. In a skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of avocado oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Add the cubed chicken to the skillet in a single layer. Sauté for 10-12 minutes until cooked through.
  4. Whisk together coconut aminos, honey, toasted sesame oil, ground ginger, minced garlic, rice vinegar, and black pepper to prepare the sauce.
  5. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  6. Pour the sauce mixture into the skillet and cook for 3-5 minutes until it thickens.
  7. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and toss to coat it in the sauce, cooking for 2 more minutes.
  8. Serve the chicken over rice with green beans and garnish with sesame seeds.
