- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Cream the room-temperature butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add one egg and vanilla extract to the creamed mixture. Mix until smooth.
- Sift in all-purpose flour, powdered sugar, and salt. Stir gently until just combined, forming a soft dough.
- Prepare the raspberry swirl by warming the jam or puréeing fresh raspberries. Optionally mix in sugar for sweetness.
