Step-by-Step Instructions for Honey Garlic Shrimp
  1. In a medium bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of soy sauce with 1 tablespoon of cornstarch. Add 1 pound of shrimp and toss gently. Allow to marinate for about 10 minutes.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add 2 minced garlic cloves and 1 tablespoon of ginger paste, sautéing for about 30 seconds.
  3. Add the marinated shrimp to the pan in a single layer, cooking for 1-2 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
  4. Once the shrimp are cooked, drizzle 3 tablespoons of honey over them and stir gently. Allow to bubble for 1-2 more minutes to thicken.
  5. Remove the pan from heat and transfer the shrimp to a serving plate. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve immediately.
