  • 200 g Pasta Choose your favorite type
For the Sauce
  • 1 small head Garlic Adjust according to taste
  • 1 can Canned Coconut Milk Substitute with vegan butter if desired
  • 3 tablespoons Tamari/Soy Sauce Use reduced-sodium for gluten-free
For the Freshness
  • 2 stalks Green Onions Use white parts for cooking, green for garnish.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta according to package instructions for 8-10 minutes. Drain without rinsing.
  2. Finely chop garlic and slice the white parts of the green onions, saving the green tops for garnish.
  3. In a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, add minced garlic with a tablespoon of water and sauté for 1-2 minutes until golden.
  4. Add the white parts of the green onions to the skillet and cook for about 3 minutes until soft.
  5. Pour in coconut milk and tamari/soy sauce, stirring and heating until bubbling slightly, about 1 minute.
  6. Add cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat in sauce and heating through for 1-2 minutes.
